the killer wave-TSUNAMI

It is said that some animals like elephants are capable of sensing Tsunami and when they sense it they move  away from the sea shore

    Wow, brilliant!! Love the raw power and sheer energy on this one. And yet it's all controlled, waiting to unleash its fury! Amazing one, Charu, one of your best!
    It funny though, that the trees are moving towards the Big Wave, instead of away :)

    Did you use crayons on this..??

    I used oil pastel for this,and even i was wondering how to draw trees away or bending down

    The trees are proper. As far as i know (from a friend who was narrowly escaped one in Sri Lanka) it is always sunny and no wind. The palm fronds dont move. Its just that the wave is too big and it rises suddenly :(
