794_coffee mug/tea cup
Today's topic is coffee mug/tea cup.
The morning cuppa is so important to kick start our day. Lets draw the cup we drink our brew from.
Here is a interesting story:
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups have been taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.
Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee. Savor the coffee, not the cups! The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Today's topic is kitchen.
Food for thought! So let us draw the place where food is prepared. Let us draw our kitchen!
I can direct breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I take pride in my kitchen, but I'm not going to direct a movie.
Julia Roberts
A kitchen without a knife is not a kitchen.
Masaharu Morimoto
I do like to cook; I'm sort of a mad scientist in the kitchen.
Kyle Chandler

792_Car
Today's topic is car.
A car is a mode of transport that helps you go from one place to another. So let us draw the car we own, travel in or our dream car; the one we would love to own or maybe just build our own imaginative car!
In less enlightened times, the best way to impress women was to own a hot car. But women wised up and realized it was better to buy their own hot cars so they wouldn't have to ride around with jerks.
Scott Adams
It's a never ending battle of making your cars better and also trying to be better yourself.
Dale Earnhardt
Car designers are just going to have to come up with an automobile that outlasts the payments.
Erma Bombeck
There's three things men always talk about - women, sports, and cars.
Mario Lopez

790_window
Today's topic is window.
It has nothing to do with Bill gates ;)
Every morning, we wake up & open the window curtains to let the Sunlight in.
Then look out at the view available, some of us are lucky to have our own gardens.
Others have to be happy with the borrowed view i.e the neighbours garden.
But most of us have to be happy looking at the neighbours house!
Whatever the view, we are grateful for the Sunshine!
Let us draw the view from our favourite window.
A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books.
Walt Whitman
Bad weather always looks worse through a window.
Tom Lehrer
My house borders horse farms, and I can look out my window and see the horses and the new colts. It's really peaceful.
Queen Latifah
I look out the window sometimes to seek the color of the shadows and the different greens in the trees, but when I get ready to paint I just close my eyes and imagine a scene.

Today's topic is boat.
Every time we visit a lake, river or the sea, we are tempted to take a boat ride! What is it that makes us want to do this? Let us explore & find out why we love boat rides.
This rhyme is so profound!
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

788_Post office
Today's topic is Post office.
It's new year, how many cards did you send to wish your near & dear ones & how many did you receive? How many letters did you write in 2013? How many times did you visit the post office? I know, technology has brought the World closer, now you don't have to wait for a week to get a reply from another continent, it is instant! But the fun of writing on onion paper, putting it in an envelope, having it weighed, buying a stamp, sticking it & posting it! What fun! So let us get all nostalgic & share our post office experience here!
Did you know that India has the most number of post offices than any other country! (over 1,20,000 post offices).
