A pretty
Girl with the cut "Plucked Chicken'!

I plucked and got plucked!

Why so?

Feasting

Today's word is my kinda thing. Had a ready image too. So here it is.
This is a picture of a fabulous feast of my first ever Tibetan meal at a restaurant called Yeti at Hauz Khas village during my recent visit to Delhi in January this year.

shiva

Shiva- dancing god

487_Shiva

Today's word is Shiva.

The dance of Shiva symbolizes the dancing universe itself, expressed in the ceaseless flow of energy going through an infinite variety of patterns that melt into one another.

~ Diarmuid O'Murchu

"This is the gist of all worship: to be pure and to do good to others. He who sees Shiva in the poor, in the weak, and in the diseased, really worships Shiva. And if he sees Shiva only in the image, his worship is but preliminary. He who has served and helped one poor man seeing Shiva in him, without thinking of his caste or creed or race or anything, with him Shiva is more pleased than with the man who sees Him only in temples"

~ Swami Vivekananda

Happy women's day

"The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights" Gloria Steinem
