Standing tall with all the serene splendour on the Vindyagiri (or Indragiri or Doddabetta) Hills is the statue of Lord Gomateshwara (Bahubali) that stands about 57 feet high and 10 feet long (wide). Bahubali is considered to be the inventor of the concept of "ahimsa" or non-violence .
