A BIG THANKS to all the Incredible ChummaDrawers who made this possible! And a SPECIAL THANKS to Prabha and Rajni Saar who doggedly kept up the daily posts, providing us with toon fodder to keep those creative cells ticking! :D

The right hand bottom picture has 100 sketches, that was a crazy thing I drew for CD when we hit a century. 

Thanks CD & CDers, it has been a interesting journey of 500 sketches. Hope to walk the next 500 sketches successfully with all of you!

A logo for CD!

As we celebrate 500 days of CD, I thought of this idea! A logo  for CD. This logo explains what we do at CD daily. Obviously the letters C and D have been given importance in designing the logo. The C is drawn to show like the right hand of the Artist and the D the left hand. The face of the Artist merges with the top of the easel. The face is also shown like a clock to represent the time limit! You are free to make use of this logo or dump it! Alternatively any changes for the better are also welcome. As a regular CD I thought this is the least I can do for I have gained a lot by drawing the topics daily. Also the face is shown at the top to suggest that we can go higher and higher in the Art field by using CD, Suggestions and feedback welcome.

Woo Hoo!

When Donna gave us the humble DQ pano-format books,

our CD journey began on 10 November 2011. 

We mark our 500 days milestone today.

Mainly thanks to Dinesh (and Rajni Saar), 

this CD journey has been a wonderful daily fix.

This isnt easy at all to keep at it, 

so all the credit goes to him and him only.

(well, impossible is possible when rajni saar is involved)

Also thanks to Sridhar Sir and Charu being regulars 

(among others) who have kept the fun going.

I can only wish that we draw daily 

and share with other ChummaDrawers

(with or without the nice comments) :P
