PEANUT snoopy
wanted to draw one snoopy character , but landed up doing many of them, its so like me ..lazy and Charles M. Schulz has created this in the 1950's and its still one of the worlds fav comic strips...
Snoopy...snoopy..bow bow bow
Nutty

waterbrush with watercolor on ordinary paper

a very healthy snack when roasted with sand...yumm
Guilty Pleasure
Been humming 'have you felt the new silk lately?' since morning. Don't even ask why (might be the aftermath of my bday yday - with no context whatsoever)! And may be that's why this..the girl's indulging herself in peanut butter..the li'l younger boy is either her bro/ someone who has a crush on her/ just a curious passerby, I dunno.
My doodles are mostly random quick scribbles at work - which I do stealthily, risking getting sacked. I work under 3 bosses who either mount my already pressurized head with work, or are travelling (blissssssss)!
This is one such blissful day which allows me to add a li'l more life to just-a-few-drawn-lines!

Belated bday wishes! Hope you had a fun day!!!

A li'l red
I did draw something red - found it too hard to describe myself. But, really din't wanna scare anyone by putting it up!
I feel red all the time - except for on monday mornings, where I usually have the MM blues!
Red defines the fiery, feisty, lovable :P me!
I really thank CD for making ppl feel so spl on bdays! I'd never tire or retire from celebrating my bday even if i turn a 100 (n god forbid)!
sorry bout the yap yap! But since rajni saar gave us the liberty to chumma-yap by creative writing, thought I'd make use of this space!! :)
Thk y'all! All CDers rock! No matter how bad/good/ugly my drawings are, you all have a few nice words to say! Please continue doing so!! :)
All love,
'R'ach!

Had drawn this immediately after Sachin scored 100th ton...Did not get the face right..Even then uploading..Sachin's fan please spare me...
Master Blaster
ALL CD Sachin fans please excuse
today , I did some 15 sketches of the master blaster..and now i thot its enough and settled for this...
Apsara B pencil on Matrix sketch pad..
Blue Blaster
Ten minutes to draw with white marking pencil, add a wash and a bit of splatter (by tapping brush on index finger). Despise cricketers, fans and media going overboard at the expense of nation and common man's skyrocketing worries. We have over-cricketed, over-cineaddicted, over-gadgetized, over-photoshopped our daily lives. Now only if we could blast through those and be our real selves...
129_Sachin!
Today's word is Sachin! Master Blaster achieves Mother of all Records by reaching his Century of Centuries!
Happy Drawing! :)

The Orange Bicycle
White glass marking pencil on ordinary notebook paper with kalamkari cover (bought from Dwarka, Indiranagar, Bangalore). Washes of Camel watercolor orange color after the white water-resistant lines were drawn (my sister completed the washes and will claim to have painted this). Generally guessed the proportions/positioning of the wheel, handle etc. as i was drawing white on white. Reference is from a random Google image. It took 2 minutes from start to finish.
Kalyani's 'She' cycle
She had 2 support wheels then..
She had 2 support legs then..
she grew with her, she's six years old
She's a breeze without those extra wheels now..
She rides on her two wheeler now..
She'sparked always next to my car..
she stands there with pride..
took about 30 minutes.. to go down and took a snap , looked at the camera display and made a pencil sketch on Matrix artist oad, and did a loose coloring with round brush S-66 series size 12..
..i like this cycle because of its blue color .. she lost her fear in this ..and i was witness to it..
Bicycle diaries - the wonder years
Which girl could resist the Lady bird or the Miss India in the 90s! *sigh*
Bicycle in Pondicherry
Had drawn this bicycle few days backs, seeing some pic in internet...Instead of drawing one more time, i thought I will post this one..
Generally keep one small book, where I draw whatever I feel like..and this was one, where it was drawn..
Time taken : 30 min's
Medium: Initial draw using Pilot pen and then applied Watercolor
Paper: Normal paper( Matrix Notebook..:))
