Secret 1: Highlight the special features of persons eg.long face, sharp nose etc. in a Cartoon to draw the viewer's attention.
Good tip. I did just that while caricaturing you at Glass House, Lalbagh. And you made me exaggerate your 'highlights', so much that they not only drew viewers' attention but triggered them to laugh out loud! :D
