806_Joy!
Today's topic is Joy.
Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.
Joseph Campbell
We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.
Buddha
Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.
Mother Teresa
I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.
Rabindranath Tagore

More here.
Asters are also known as the "herb of Venus." Named for the stars because of the shape of its blossoms, the aster symbolizes elegance and refinement. It is also considered a love charm and was thought to have mystical powers that could ward of evil serpents. It is said they came to be when the Greek goddess Asterea cried from the lack of stars on earth. Where her tears fell, asters grew.

Snowdrop
Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) are one of the first bulbs to flower and signal the start of spring. The flower is a symbol of hope.
Legend:
According to legend, the snowdrop became the symbol of hope when Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden. When Eve was about to give up hope that the cold winters would never end, an angel appeared. She transformed some of the snowflakes into snowdrop flowers, proving that the winters do eventually give way to the spring.
Interesting:
“Everyone looks for the first snowdrop as proof that our part of the earth is once more turning towards the sun, but folklore maintains that we should be wary of bringing them into the house before St Valentine’s Day, as any unmarried females could well remain spinsters!”

802_washing clothes
Today's topic is washing clothes.
The washing machine breaks down & can be repaired only next week; the maid has left for the day. Your guests have to travel tomorrow early morning. Their clothes need to be washed! They have gone on a day trip! What do you do? This was my plight yesterday. So, I washed two bucketful clothes & realised muscles I never knew existed. So let us draw washing clothes by hand!

801_Greeting card.
Today's topic is greeting card.
There used to be a time, when we drew greeting cards with a lot of love & posted it with a little doodle on the envelope. Then came Archies & we bought cards for every occasion. But with the internet emerging, we just e mail the wishes. Rarely do we draw or buy & almost never post a greeting card. So, let us draw a greeting card now!
