Walk it off

This old aunty comes walking regularly in our building. She wears sport shoes, nine yard saree and pink socks. She is insanely cute :)

“[Walking] is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside.”
― Elizabeth von Arnim, The Adventures of Elizabeth in RĂ¼gen

Please see Crab post

The wrong destination!

Please note that some months back a young man ventured into the Bannerghatta Forest and got trampled upon by an Elephant. I had that in mind when I sketched this. Please don't send your wards without proper Guides to such places howsoever adventurous they may be!

Hermit Crab

Most species of the hermit crab have soft abdomens, which are protected from predators by a salvaged empty sea snail shell, carried by the hermit crab into which its whole body can retract.   Hollow wood or stone pieces are also used by some species.

Sinful butter

A family recipe

A large blob of fresh white butter, home-made banana jam and akki roti.  Some of my cousins still have this as a quick dessert - and forget about that cholesterol.

I'm not sure if this comes under 'butter',  - a more refined way?
